    LOVE IN THE FAMILY

We’re a family that loves, loves, loves.

A lovey dovey meeting we had at our TRANFORMERS meeting. Happy birthday W115! Bundled together with a wonderful time of games, praise, sharing and personal awards as well. Hugs were exchanged at the end of it all, adding on to the warmth and family-ness of this special group.

After hearing the personal thank you messages and the simple introductory messages; after hearing all the heartfelt sharing from every person present bringing tears to our eyes and laughter to fill the room, don’t you wish you were part of it instead of standing by the sidelines? Don’t you wish you were the ones that stood out among the rest? Don’t you wish you were the one making the difference in someone else’s life?

W115 is not someone else’s cell group. It is OUR cell group. This is OUR family. That’s what we are: a family of genuine love, care, concern. Like a puzzle, we form the many little pieces that has to be pieced together to make the picture whole. Each and every one of us are important. So let us not leave out anyone for we are a family that loves one another very much. That at the end of the day we can say we have impacted others, that we are transformed on the inside ourselves. And that we have made a difference.

Let’s continue to encourage one another and simply being there to support and uplift each and every sister and brother we have in Christ. Let’s flow as one with this love for people and love for Christ that we shall work together to bring W115 up to a next level, from glory to glory.

Strive on! This family is ours to sustain and ours to be proud of.

We ARE a family that loves, loves, loves! (:

GREAT JOB DONE BY A GREAT TEAM

Thunderous applause for the organising team that made the 1st round of our Captain's Ball Champions League happen!

    Namely, Ben - Aileen - Natalia - David - Carey - Lyon - Chmel

Without you guys, we wouldn't have enjoyed it as much. Special thanks to you.
[Spam thanks to their blogs guys! lol]

We had a much bigger group participating than the previous round, but they handled the crowd well. Although the teams barely knew each other, and are still in the midst of building a stronger team spirit, let's all work together to make the 2nd round a resounding success!

It takes more than one general to claim victory. An army is what it takes to win a war.

Together, we can make all things possible!

    WHO TOLD YOU THAT?

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Many a time in life we find ourselves in a difficult situation and we feel like giving up but we learnt that God has not given us a spirit of fear but a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. We have to embrace what God has given us; to believe that we have the power to overcome.

Gen 3:11 And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?”

In fact we should all be asking ourselves, who told us that? Who told me that I am not able to overcome parental objection? Who told you that you cannot overcome the problem you have now? God always has the final say. If God didn’t say you can’t then you shouldn’t stop trying.

God really wants to see how much we want to overcome a problem, how much effort we are putting into it, how much faith we have in Him. God sees through into our heart, and when He knows how much we want to overcome the problem, He will definitely find a way for us. Just like how He has done for others, He will surely do for us as well!

Shut your ears to what others say you can’t accomplish, but open your ears to the Lord God and obey Him. Did God ever say to you, you can’t do it? Until that day comes, we should all press on, for God will definitely lead us up to a higher level!

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE IN GOD

Gen 18:14 “Is anything too hard for the Lord? Mt 19:26 “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
This word is always in my heart as sometimes in our lives, we may lose heart and think that God is not there or have already abandon us. But often at times in life when I look back, I will always see that God is always there to see us through life. Nothing is too hard for Him to handle, but it is how we are to learn to lean on Him and not on our strength. Because ultimately God's strength, power and anointing will surely make us the Head and not the tail, above and not beneath.
Mt 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
Gen 22:14 “The Lord will provide”
In this verse, it clearly stated that God provides for us everything that is good to our mind, soul and body. God makes it a point that when we walk with Him, & obey His commandment, we will definitely not walk in lack, but in prosperity.
“For men shall not live by bread alone , but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” Mt 4:4, Deut 8:3
Mt 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” When you put God first in your life, you will surely not lack and u can have rest.

Mt 11:28-30 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

    THERE MUST BE SOMETHING MORE

So then what is that something more?

Many Christians may lead a contented life.
    They read the bible
They are committed to the church and to God
    They pray every single day
They try to reach out to lost souls
    They are happy people

But is that all we can do?

Christianity is having a relationship with God.
It also means that we need to communicate with God.
The greatest thing about being a Christian is to be able to experience encounters with God.

So let us tell God how much we really want the anointing, the experience of divine encounters with him. It all lies in a Genuine Heart of Prayer.

I really believe that if each one of us set our hearts wholeheartedly towards God, show that we are serious with Him and want to do more for Him, cell group meetings will never be the same.

There will be that something more.

One life. One heart. One journey. One purpose. One family, W115
    We can make things happen

Let us run this race together, victoriously!

    THE BLESSINGS OF GODLINESS

Wonderful and power-packed message brought to us by Serena during CG this week (:

Godliness can ensure divine protection over our lives.

To be godly is to be set apart and aside for God leading a lifestyle of God, living for Jesus. Having Jesus as our life foundation, that our lives will reflect the qualities, nature and character of God in us.

God is certainly our ABBA Father. Like any parent would, He wants to love, care, guide and watch us grow up healthily. We can have the faith that He wants to protect us, His precious children, from harm’s way. As we trust in Him, He will guide us, giving us divine protection over the path He intended for us to take. when we walk with God, our spirit man is alive.. only then will we be able to know and perceive the right, God-protected and God-guided path for us!

So let’s be confident of who we belong to and serve, because we can have confidence in God for we are inspired by Him in the Spirit. When we are godly, we can walk in God’s thoughts: "Thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you(us) a future and a hope." (Jer 29:11)

Trials and tribulations will come, 'but God saves the day'. He will protect and deliver us from it. but it will take something out of everyone of us. There must be something more. Something more to make us not want to stay at where we are. That we can cut away that bridge that’ll take us back to our old lifestyle and simply keep on trusting God.

Together, let's equip ourselves with the Word of God and keep on trusting in His Heart even when we don't see His Hand. the benefits of godliness is for us and is for NOW.

For all in all, we know that in God, we may not get a smooth journey.. but we can stand in the promise of a safe one. yay (:

    WORKING FOR THE HARVEST

7 CHARACTERISTICS IN REACHING THE LOST FOR JESUS
    1. Compassion
    2. Faith
    3. Action
    4. Persistence
    5. Creativity
    6. Cooperation
    7. Sacrifice

This week in CG meeting, we've been reminded about the story in the Bible of 4 friends, who worked together to bring their paralyzed friend to Jesus.

Their friendship lived out these 7 characteristics that ultimately led to the paralytic's miracle healing. Moved with compassion & faith for their friend, they went the distance, carrying him on his bed through the crowd, & against all odds, brought him before Jesus - Jesus, who was moved by THEIR FAITH (4 friend's), healed the paralytic.

    [Remember Carey the paralytic???]

& at the end of the meeting, for all who were present, we know that deep in our hearts, there is that extra bit that can be done on our part, to bring the unchurched friends around us to the saving knowledge of Jesus.

& if it takes 5 more extra minutes of prayer everyday to show God we're serious about revival - we'll do just that! If it means a little less time to watch television so we can study more & shine for God in our studies - we'll do just that! If it means less time on computer games so that we can study & meditate more on the bible - we'll do just that! If it means not talking back and being loving, so our parents might see that God has changed us - we'll do just that!

If it means that someone needs to share the love of Christ with a friend of mine who has not known Jesus, is lost in life, without a purpose, outcast by everyone around him/her, in need for a spiritual void to be filled - Jesus, let it be me. I'll do just that!

Therefore, may it be the heart's cry for every one of us Worldshakers - "God, if it's gonna be, it's gonna be me!"

[Worship/ministering song: Take all of me]

LEADERSHIP FILES - By Phil Pringle

    QUALITY FOCUS

Quote - 'Whatever things are true, ...noble, ...just, ...pure, ...lovely, ...good report, ...virtue ...anything praiseworthy-- meditate on these things.' - Phil 4:8Hi,

    I'm Phil Pringle,
    You're going to love this;

Make your mind dwell on the beautiful, the good, the true, the pure.

Focus on low quality things and you'll develop low quality living.

Focus on high quality subjects and develop a high quality life.

How we see ourselves is what we will become.

What our mind is preoccupied with makes us the kind of people we are.

We conform to the picture in our mind.

    What's your focus right now?

    Stepping out with you,
    Phil Pringle
